My Dream Team

Gillian Winn

ARAD. DIP. PDTC.

It is not easy to find and assemble a team who are a credit to the school and I have spent over twenty years mentoring and recruiting teachers who have that special touch.
I can now say with every confidence that the group here is exceptional . They are some of the best ballet teachers in London.
Just look at their credentials and qualifications. Each and every one is constantly thinking of how our teaching practice can be developed to inspire our students to joyfully achieve.

We are dedicated  to developing technique, artistry, imagination and musicality in every dancer and are committed to continuing professional development ( CPD), which means we are learning all the time.
Delivering inspiring classes at all levels and music to excite and motivate the students towards developing their strength in dance.
We have seen from our alumni that our students become elegant, determined, young women and men.

Georgia Yiannakas

BA (Hons). LRDA. ARAD. BABE.

Georgia has been dancing since the age of 3 and over the years achieved distinctions in all her grades. These results encouraged her to turn her love of ballet into a career.

We have benefited greatly from this decision and Georgia is now a charming , confident teacher with a very natural gift for relating to the children and getting the very best out of them. I am delighted to have had her on my team for a number of years.

Georgia entered the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) where she gained a degree in ballet Education and also achieved her LRAD and Advanced 2 Ballet. She is a highly successful RAD registered teacher.

She completed her teaching placement at a north London ballet Academy where she worked closely with a well respected teacher who gave her guidance and mentoring in her final year.

Chloe Stephens

BA. DDI.

Chloe Stephens BA. DDI Chloe’s love for dance also began at the ripe old age of 3, when she sat still for the first time at a live ballet! it has been her passion ever since and following all her dance exams she performed in both Coppelia and Giselle with the English Youth Ballet. Having graduated with a BA in Dance studies, and achieving her Diploma in Dance Instruction Chloe went on to appear in the film as a ballet soloist, in music videos and to dance in a feature-length ballet film ‘The Spirit of the Music’

Since 2014 Chloes love of ballet has turned to teaching children‘s ballet, entering them for exams and choreographing their shows. This work with children she finds deeply rewarding and it has also led to her going to South Africa to volunteer in an orphanage helping young children to learn through a homework project in Alexandria near the Addo Elephant Park.

We are thrilled to have someone with such a dedication to the lives and development of children, as Chloe. Her enthusiasm and warmth has made her very popular with all the children.

Gryte Navardauskaite

BA (Hons).

With her love of music, Gryte started playing piano at the age of 7. Over the years, her dedication and talent became recognised and soon she was awarded a scholarship to study at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music here in London,
a long way from her native Lithuania !

Her musical achievements have led her to be honoured by both the Prime Minister and the President of Lithuania with national awards for her contribution to the artistic merits of her country.

Gryte has performed in many Masterclasses in Lithuania, Switzerland, Germany, France and England and has recently given concerts both as a solo pianist as well as in chamber orchestras in London’s Barbican Centre.

It is no exaggeration to say we are honoured to have Gryte accompany our ballet at St Andrews where she brings another dimension to the classes.

Konstantina Chadoulou

LRAD.

Valentina receiving her award

A rising star. Every dance website probably uses the words dedication, inspiring, professional and so on. It is easy to write but Konstantina is the embodiment of these things. Tri-lingual and a Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Dance,
it is Konstantina’s passion for ballet education and constantly improving her skills that has led to her devotion to her work. Her own studies have almost all resulted with excellence and distinctions.

This led her to be chosen to dance for the official launch of ‘Discovering Repertoire’ and also the recent gala attended by Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cornwall.

Another example of Konstantina’s tireless drive to inspire all her students has led to her devising a plan where the girl with the most consistently smart appearance and tidy hair bun is awarded a small prize at the end of term. The others did not miss, out of course, as they are all rewarded for their efforts, but here she is with Valentina who was rightfully proud to receive the top award.

This reaffirms the four elements of our desire for all our students to achieve.
Confidence. Resilience. Fitness. Grace. !
